Notifications

Stay on top of what’s happening in your estates. Notifications alert you when teammates make changes, tasks are assigned, or something needs your attention.

In a multi-user environment, things change constantly. Notifications keep you informed without having to constantly check if something new happened:

  • Your teammate uploaded new floor plans
  • An asset was moved or deleted
  • A proposal needs your approval
  • Someone is waiting for your input

Click the bell icon in the top-right corner to open your notification panel.

  • Mark as read - Manually mark notifications as read (optional)

Click the Unread tab to focus only on new items:

When you click a notification, you’ll see:

  • What changed - The specific action that happened
  • Who did it - Which team member
  • When it happened - Date and time
  • Where it is - Which estate, site, or asset was affected
  • Action button - Often a link to navigate there directly

You’ll see:

  • Which asset was moved
  • From where it was
  • To where it is now
  • Who moved it and when

Click the notification to jump to that floor plan and see the asset.

You’ll see:

  • Which site and building
  • Floor name
  • Who uploaded it

Click to navigate to that floor plan immediately.

You’ll see:

  • The new member’s name
  • What role they have
  • The estate they joined

This helps you know who to coordinate with.

  • Check regularly - Notifications are live as they happen
  • Don’t ignore for long - Old notifications can pile up
  • Use the unread tab - Focus on what you haven’t seen yet

If you’re getting too many notifications:

  1. Check if you have the right estate scope - Are you watching all estates you don’t need to?
  2. Ask your admin about notification preferences - Some organizations can adjust notification volume
  3. Use the Unread tab to stay focused
  • Stored for 30 days - Notifications are kept but may be archived after 30 days
  • Search available - Use the search in the notifications panel to find something specific
  • No deletion - Notifications are kept for audit purposes

Check:

  • Do you have the right permissions for the estate?
  • Are you a member of the team that’s making changes?
  • Has more than a second passed since the change? (They appear in real-time)

In rare cases:

  • Internet connection issues
  • Sync conflicts in offline mode

Refreshing the page will catch you up.

This might mean:

  • Multiple people working on the same estate
  • Someone bulk-uploaded many assets
  • You have access to many estates

All normal - the unread tab helps you prioritize.

  1. Check daily - Keep on top of changes rather than checking weekly
  2. Use the unread tab - Focus on new items first
  3. Act on assignments - When you get a task notification, try to handle it promptly
  4. Coordinate with teammates - Use notifications as a conversation starter
