Inside a catalogue
The working view of one catalogue: its listings on one side, the selected listing’s detail on the other, and the catalogue’s own configuration above.
What you can do here
Section titled “What you can do here”- Browse and search listings — filter by name or category.
- Create a listing — add a new specification. See Create a listing.
- Publish a listing — an approved listing becomes placeable at sites.
- Set the data-profile target — the published data profile this catalogue’s listings are typed against. Do this before creating listings: a listing cannot save without one. Pick the profile workspace first, then one of its published versions.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”The data-profile target is the contract between your catalogue and your reference data — it defines which typed fields listings carry. If Create listing refuses with “select a published data profile”, this page’s profile-target control is the fix — or use Choose data profile on the listing form itself, which binds the same target.
The target is a published version, so later edits to the profile never change this catalogue’s listings behind your back. See Data Profiles for how versions, publishing, and migration work.
