The activity feed answers “what happened while I wasn’t looking?” — every meaningful change in the estate, newest first: assets placed, drawings uploaded, people joining, reports produced.

Because the product works offline, changes made in the field arrive here when the device that made them syncs. If a plate wobbled anywhere in the estate, this is where you see it — without having to go looking.
